Genius Among Us

This presentation documents a high school summer camp devoted entirely to music composition. The camp, created by Dr. Jeanne Sinquefield, is instructed by Dr. Stefan Freund and Dr. W. Thomas McKenney from the School of Music, University of Missouri. Each young composer has five days to write an original piece using clarinet, bassoon, violin, cello, and viola. The composers are from high schools across the state of Missouri. Genius Among Us is a testament to the ageless muse and the creative spark.
